Dusseldorf Hofgarten





Somebody has noticed that this tree (fallen or otherwise) is infected with

Ganoderma applanatum and has gone to most commendable measures to preserve 

these specimen fungi. They have built a greenhouse around the trunk. There 

were hundreds of comparitively young fruiting bodies and a few loose older 

ones.

If anyone has any information relating to this or the name and

address of the person(s) responsible I would love to know.
