These occur at the same site (two locations) every year. more

Mitrula paludosa

These are really common here this year. They are also larger than usual with some specimens with 20mm + diameter. These were a few of many hundreds in a ditch excavated the previous fall. All the specimens I have seen in Snowdonia have been associated with rotting oak leaves in slowly moving water.
