Habitat:-          Oak stump

Location:-         Precipice walk, Dolgellau, N.Wales

Scale:-            Life size



Description:-      Closely matches text book descriptions of Lentinus lepideus

                   except that this specimen was growing on dead oak stump instead 

                   of dead coniferous stump.

                   It has been suggested that this is Pleurotus Dryinus.(Twice)
