Orange Galerina/Tubaria........

I now have now had two suggestions for this. "Orange Galerina looks like Tubaria furfuracea (not T. autochthona which grows beneath hawthorn)" I will try to tie this one down next February when they appear again (at least they have for the last 4 years at this time). Date observed:- 9th February 1997 Habitat:- Mossy pasture underneath hawthorn bush. Location:- Hendre Berfedd Scale:- 1.5 x Approximately 20 specimens observed scattered over a few square metres. The smaller image is apparently one of two specimens of the same fungus observed at a different location (The Cottage) on 22nd February 1997.
